The camp in 2009. I don't think the sun ever showed up.
This was the camp in 2009. It was dark and cold.
The East medow and future camps in the distance.
Off in the distance, under the power lines, is where we started camping after this.
Looking West.
If it wasn't so cold, dark, gloomy and filled with widow makers, it would be a cozy spot.
The Jeep emerging from the back side of the Jim Creek Mine road.
I usually try to push my way through the brush, on a hunt up the back side of the
nobb to the Jim Creek Mine. The mine was filled in by the Forest Bureau, but some ruins
still remain. I was up hear in 2010 and the snow was about 3 ft. deep. Luckily, this
is the top of the pass so it only got less no matter which way I went.
This year (2012) I almost met some other critters up here.
